Mark Making

Hamad was able to follow step by step instructions to draw a dinosaur.  He was reluctant at first but as the activity went on he gained confidence.  For some parts of the drawing I used my hand to guide his.  Hamad alternated between a fist and developing tripod grip.

Big playground

   Hamad showed an increased confidence in using the climbing equipment.  He could move his legs and hold  on to the ropes very tightly when he was playing. He also looked around  very carefully to find the way to go and move. When his friends jumped up and down, he said "Stop jumping ,please!".

Hamad chose to paint on the floor in the big playground using a medium-sized brush. He was able to make big and small circles on the floor and lots of random patterns too.

ARC Visit

Animal Rescue + Care (ARC) went for their initial visit to F2 class to talk about pets and how we should take care of them. Hamad showed keen interest and attention whilst the ARC people talk. Hamad volunteered to touch the dog. He asked doctor Nghia " Can I touch your cat?" and he touched the cat very gently. Well done Hamad!

Mud kitchen

Hamad happily did a cooking with his friend Lucas in the Mud Kitchen in the fundino playground.  

Me: What are you cooking Hamad?

Hamad: Pumpkin, pointed to me and continued, pumpkin for you.

Me: What will you put into your pumpkin?

Hamad: Beef and chicken.

It looked very yummy. Thank you Hamad!

Dinosaur's egg hunt

Hamad joined in a game called Dinosaur Egg Hunt. He had to dig the sand to find the eggs, count them with friends and open them.

F2 Trip to KizCiti

          The children explored some of the areas KizCiti had to offer during the trip on Tuesday. There included the fire station, airplane, bakery, ice cream parlous, beauty salon and hospital.

Busy Fingers

Hamad enjoyed using the tweezers to pick up the cotton balls and move them to the ice trays.  He found it challenging to hold and squeeze the tweezers at first but he persevered and was able to control them well by the end.  Hamad was able to say the colours of the cotton balls as well.

Shape Hunt in the Splash Pool

Hamad took part in our activity with enthusiasm this morning.  He looked carefully to check whether shapes matched before putting them in the basket.  Hamad is beginning to match shapes accurately.

Setting up the table

Hamad had a go at setting up the table for our afternoon snacks. He took the plates and cups and put a set for each spot on the table. Well done Hamad!

Hamad was shopping for some fruits.

Obstacle course activity

              During our obstacle course activity. Hamad was able to move freely and with pleasure in a range of ways such as jumping, crawling and rolling. He was supported to use the balancing beam at the beginning of the game.
